"Welcome to the study hall for Friday, Sept--"

Principal Connor stops talking, raises her gun, and shoots at something in the corner of the room. Instead of a bullet, a net flies out and covers a tiny squealing creature covered in green fur. She picks it up by its ears and scowls.

"I thought you were supposed to be in the dungeons. C'mon, you little squealer. Back you go."

Principal Connor stalks off, the creature still dangling from her grasp. Over her shoulder, she calls out, "You kids might want to keep out for more of these stupid things. Their bites can make you do really weird things. Really weird."

Huh, between the trees trying to talk to me or attack me, and the tentacles in the dorms, I think I'm going to need some self-defence classes soon.

Right, I'd better get on with some Journalism homework then. Hmm...150 words on alcohol. *chews pen and looks thoughtful*

I'm Kaylee. I remember you from Journalism too - I think we were in the back row together in the last class?. The homework...*screws up face* - Yep - I'm trying hard but writing's not my strong suit.

The topic this week is alcohol *looks down shyly* and I feel like such a nyen ching-duh compared to everyone else.
