Dogma: Fuck It! | Wednesday | Period 1

Class was meeting back in the Danger Shop today. Loki was growing pretty fucking fond of these simulations. It was always fun to make things do what his weird mind wanted.

"Welcome back!" he said, greeting him all jovially. "I'm glad to see you're all still here and I hope you've learned a thing or two over the last few weeks. Today's lesson is something fun, I promise."

Fun for Loki or fun for them, he wasn't saying.

"Typically, when someone says you're a sensible person, they mean you think things through thoroughly, you're not a risk taker and, underneath all that, you're no fucking fun. You're a fucking stick in the mud because you're always doing the sensible thing, being the responsible person. Fuck that shit, that's boring. Today, we're not going to be sensible people. Today, we're gonna do shit that we know we shouldn't do, that no human should do and we're gonna love it."

Loki hit the sim and several areas of extreme sports came into view. "This is our class for today. Have some fucking fun."

At least the subject matter in this class didn't go completely against her beliefs like some of Loki's earlier ones. She was still quite dubious about why someone would want to risk their lives like this, though.

Didi tended to be physically reckless when she got the chance anyhow, so she spent the class period hopping from activity to activity. She ended spending the most time at the hang gliding station. She loved the feeling of flying it gave her.

Best. Class. Ever.

Calvin cheerfully spent the class doing every single activity, then finding ways to make them even more insanely dangerous fun.

Scarily, he'd do that last part even if there weren't build in safety protocols.

Gabrielle spent a while peering over the edge of the bungee jump area, looking awfully conflicted about the whole thing.

It wasn't that falling from heights that meant guaranteed death (although in her world, who knew how long that would stick) if you hit the bottom was a new or surprising concept. It was just that A) it felt weird plummeting like that without being chased by someone(s) with weapons, B) she generally expected to end up with rope burns on her hands from doing something like this, and C) Xena wasn't around to rescue her.

When she finally tried the bungee jump, she had to take a deep breath and let out a loud, oh-Zeus-save-me-quick yell of "XEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEENAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!" as she dropped.

. . . it still wasn't quite the same without having a Warrior Princess to cling to with hands possibly in dubious places.

Helen tried then all. She had to admit there was something amazingly freeing about the hang gliding and the cliff diving. She didn't like the street luge as much or the upside down falling with the bungee cord.

Beka was a sensible person and she saw naught wrong with it. She didn't think aught was wrong with the activities either. Admittedly, twas the name of the street luge that'd drawn her in. She'd not expected it to be that fast and it made her a bit queasy, but twas fun nonetheless.

Afterwards, she decided to try the hang glide. It appeared to be a somewhat quieter.

Oh! Oh, could Zack do them all? Would Zack have time to to them all? Would he be allowed to do that bungee jumping thing without the annoying elastic thingie? It wasn't like he couldn't land it!

Oh, man, this was awesome!

Kurt did the bungee jumping, hang gliding, and luging over and over again, excitedly.

It all started to mess with his head, though, and he eventually threw up when he was unharnessing himself from his umpteenth bungee jump.
