Maritime Mammals, Tuesday, Period 6
Summer had once again let her students know to meet at the causeway. Instead of going to a care center, they were going to an aquarium. Like last time, the drive didn't take very long and Summer wanted her students to have as much time as possible to explore the different areas of the aquarium.
"I thought you guys could do with another outing after last week. We're at this aquarium to see what kind of habitats some of our marine friends occupy," Summer explained. "Aquariums can be equated with zoos -- the people who work here take care of the marine life and often study them to learn more about how they interact in an environment simulating the ocean."
Summer paused to hand out maps detailing the layout of the aquarium and their exhibits. She may have highlighted a couple of areas she thought her students should check out.
"I want you all to take your time exploring. There are many exhibits to see, some are in here and others are outdoors. Feel free to find me if you have questions, I'll be studying the dolphins."
There was so much to see and she didn't want her students to lose time standing around.
[OCD up. Sorry for the late post!]
