Study Hall -- Friday, October 21tst

Sarah glares at anyone who dares to enter, not about to put up with the same sort of shit she had to put up with yesterday. She hunches over her notebook for her hot, hot Fandom High romance novel OMG WHEEE! notes for the classes she really doesn't have, looking about as sane -- if not less so -- than usual.

Now, what's another word for "turgid"?

Bridge takes three packages of sugar out of a pocket and stirs them into the coffee before gulping it down.

Anders raises an eyebrow, but knows better by now than to ask why Bridge carries sugar in his pockets.

"It sucks." Bridge makes a face, then turns his attention back to the pile of circuit boards spread out on his desk. He finally decides on one and sticks the others back in his box-o-parts. "What about you, dude? How've you been? Haven't seen you since the other night when you gave me the idea for the toaster-camera."

Anders gestures with his hand, grimacing slightly. "Yesterday, really good. Last night and today, not so much. I got a letter from the pro Pyramid league back home, and they want to send a scout out to watch me. Which is good, but apparently Thrace thinks I wasn't as happy as I should've been, and we kind of got into it over that. I have a lot of thinking to do about this."

Bridge smiles sympathetically. "Aw, man, that's... yeah. I'd be conflicted too, if that happened to me- well, not being asked to play Pyramid, that would just be weird, since I don't know how to play it- but... if, like, I got a letter from home saying the Academy'd been rebuilt, I don't know if I'd wanna go back right away. Hey, can you hand me that squiggly bit over there?"
