Sarah glares at anyone who dares to enter, not about to put up with the same sort of shit she had to put up with yesterday. She hunches over her notebook for her hot, hot Fandom High romance novel OMG WHEEE! notes for the classes she really doesn't have, looking about as sane -- if not less so -- than usual.

Now, what's another word for "turgid"?

Rory smiles. "Glad to hear it. Are you okay with being interviewed really quickly?"

Bridge rubs the sleep out of his eyes and grins. "Sure, no problem."

"Allrighty," Rory says, pulling out a notebook and a pen. "Why, first of all, do you want to be a peer mediator?"

"Um, well... I've always wanted to help people. S'why I was in a police academy before I ended up here. And, um... I'm an empath, so I've worked on being in tune with the feelings of others, even when I'm not actually using my abilities. Helping people to find nonviolent solutions to problems would be a good way to put my skills to work, I think."

Rory looks up from where she had been scribbling away. "So you can sense emotions? That's...really cool. And very useful. Um...can you think of a situation where you intervened, and prevented violence, using words?"

Bridge smiles. "Oh, man. There was this one time, at my old school- this guy Boom- he's really not the most co-ordinated guy around, as you might guess from the name- but he's still real nice- anyway, he'd 'fixed' the washrooms in the student hallway... anyway, yeah. That didn't work so well. An hour later, my roommate Sky came out dripping wet and I swear there was smoke coming from his ears. I stopped him before he could go find Boom and got him to think rationally about it... Boom hadn't meant to have that happen, and really, even though he's accident-prone, he's usually very good at what he does. Sky got my point (eventually) and settled for just a very long lecture to Boom on the importance of double-checking your work."

Rory nods, scribbling all this down. "That is...awesome. Okay. A few final questions that I'm required to ask, " she rolls her eyes. "Are you in good standing in all your classes, and do you personally have any problems with anyone in the school?"

"Yeah, I'm doing pretty well in all my classes... and no, no personal problems with anyone I've met so far," he frowns thoughtfully "well, okay, I think that Jaye girl's lion is a little creepy. But she seems cool."

Rory laughs. "Yeah, I don't know Jaye that well, but I've heard about the lion." She closes her notebook. "Well, we're done here. You've got it. Sometime over the next couple days, you need to get in touch with Marty Blank - he'll fill you in on how this is a security issue. And we're going to have a meeting...probably Monday or Tuesday afternoon next week, if that works for you."
