CULTIVATION & GARDENING [1st CLASS] // OCT. 20

"Welcome to your new Cultivation and Gardening session! I'm Justin Quayle, and I'll be your instructor for the year, and I'll be the first to tell you that this class will be easy but challenging to those that don't try to do the work. Also, students are expected to attend my class in the appropriate clothing; such as, jeans or ratty pants that you don't mind getting soiled or an old t-shirt of some sort that you don't mind sweating in.

Gardening holds many demensions, it's more than just planting that tree and watering it, we all can learn from an Oak tree on how to survive, and we can also control the Earth's moving breath. This gardening session should ease your day, make you feel at peace with life or make you feel like you belong in this element."

Justin rounds the huge table up in the front of the room, a large bio-sphere is to the right of the room, enclosed in special materials that make it a mini-green house inside. Having chosen 'bulbs' as the first thing to start the students on, he takes out packets of seeds for them to plant this class and be able to help grow themselves.

"Please choose a plant to put into soil today, I will be asking you why to write about why you chose that particular Amaryllis and what you hope turns out for your little plant." he waves a hand to the pots at the side of the room and the bags of fertilizer, "Proceed at will and do not make a huge mess, we have angry janitors you know!"

[[OOC: Starting this now since it's 11 p.m. here and I'll be a busy person tomorrow. I'll be setting up threads for sign in, plant picking, and plant discussion of why you chose that plant. Give me a minute! *hurries!*]]

"That's an interesting choice," Wednesday told her, frowning just a little. "My own garden is mostly dark purples and blues, and is based very heavily both on color and easy maintenance. I chose the Red Peacock because the color would blend and pull out other colors in my own garden."

Kiki nods. "That makes sense. Since I don't have a garden, I've got nothing to clash with this, but I can see why you chose that one. Good reason. I'm sure that must be lovely to see when everything is in bloom."

"It is," Wednesday told her, "but I have a bias. Most of the plants in my garden are very easy to care for and require little attention, thankfully. I like having a garden, but don't have as much time as I would like to care for one."
