Anakin started visibly at the nickname. "Please sir, I'd rather you not use that name. It brings up some memories I'd rather not deal with."

He lifted up his hands. "And prophecy? Written to be nebulous, implying something but never saying it outright, used and twisted to fit different beings' needs or political ambitions." His mouth twisted. "I hate prophecy. Most of the Temple views me as some magical being. The rest watch me like I'm going to snap any second."

Anakin furrowed his brow. "I don't really know, sir. I mean, being here at this school and learning about different paths and different ways of viewing things has been an education in itself, really." He looked down at the floor. "But some things are probably meant to be. I'll bring balance to the Force. I just don't know how."
