Physical Education, 4th Period - 5/17

"Alright," Guy said as soon as the class was assembled. "Last week we did that introduction crud, so this week we'll be playing a lil' game for you all to really get to know each other. Football."

That smirk of his was highly unnecessary.

"Split off into two teams and get to it." A beat. "And no, this ain't flag football, but if you get out of hand, I will throw your dumb ass in detention, got it? Good. Get to it."

There was a pause as he looked over the teams and how it was a bit uneven the way he had if figured out originally.

"Reyes, you can ref."

Ah, that also solved the problem of his ring going into overdrive with the kid 'attacking' people.

Jaime shot Guy a glare. "No. I didn't know we had one."

And now Jaime's headache was capped with some part of his brain trying to figure out who it might be.

"It's like weird reunion around here." Really, how many people from home were here?

"Well, he's probably from some other timeline or something." That's how things seemed to go around here, after all.

"Everyone is." Baaaaatmaaaaan.

"I noticed," Jaime rolled his eyes sarcastically.

And he didn't even know about Batman.

Roy Harper

Ew, green team. Couldn't there be a red team?

Hey, he went to the Batcave. He should know these things.

"Yeah, yeah. Get to work before I need to take a migraine pill."

Hey, cut the kid some slack. It was his first superheroing gig! He'd been distracted!

Jaime scowled. But he turned to watch the game. He'd do the job.

Tim Drake

Funnily enough, Tim was good with green, yellow and red. At least for a couple of years. "We got a plan?" he asked.

Gunn clapped his hands together. "All right. Who here has played this game before and can run fast."

"I've played it and I'm not really slow?" Vance offered.

"I'm pretty fast," Kennedy put in with a shrug, because she was nothing if not the opposite of modest, "and I know how the game goes."

Which was not to say she'd played it, per se; the kinds of schools she'd gone to were more about lacrosse, field hockey, and tennis than football. But whatever, she watched the Super Bowl every year, that totally counted. Right?

Robin Goodfellow

Robin shrugged, "Get the ball to the fastest person and don't let the
get tackled."

"Sounds good," Tim said. "Who's the fastest?" He looked around at his fellow Green team members.

Jason Todd

Zack Fair

"I'm fast, and I'm-" kind of abnormally "-strong," Zack noted. "But I really don't know the game all that well. Different world stuff."

Stupid different worlds. Zack needed to take this moment to kind of wrinkle his nose.

"So... All I really know is that once you have the ball, you're supposed to run to the other end of the field, right? Do we get points for knocking people over on the way?"

Because that would make this the best game ever!

"I can be, but not without cheating.", Robin said with a grin. "Anyone else?"

"What do you mean by 'cheating'?" Tim asked.
