Today's experiment is building BattleBots. We can use the lab's facilities, and we have almost all the supplies you could ever need. If you can't find something, ask. I'll be in the corner messing with my faulty purge valve. Oops.

((ZOMG! I completely didn't see this when it went up, sorry!))

After tinkering with his parts with the kind of deftness only an entire childhood spent playing with K'nex and Erector sets provided, Jonathan emerged triumphant with his Bot.

"Lisa Cuddy!," he called across the room, "I'm calling you and your bot out! Prepare to do battle!"

Jonathan grips the remote control for his bot between his fingers as he brough it over towards Cuddy's bot.

((kick his ass dude!))

"Oh, bring it on, Crane!"

Lisa started up her bot, which was stuck together with duct tape but quite nasty looking, and grinned as she grasped her remote.

Meeting Lisa's half way across the room, Jonathan's bot (http://www.matchrockets.com/teamstupid/helix.html) tries to cut Lisa's into pieces.

((I've got JA on Tuesday evening so yeah, that would work.))

Lisa's bot (http://viastellarum.antville.org/static/viastellarum/images/BattleBot.jpg) manages to dodge a severe blow, and she spins it around quickly to try and hit Johnathan's flank with her front weaponry, although her bot is smoking a bit.

Taking a hard hit in the side with the blade of Cuddy's bot, Jonathan maneuvers his bot to the left as Cuddy's bot drive by.

Jonathan's bot moves to the left, a perfect position to hit Cuddy's in an exposed area. She tries to move hers back into reverse, but her remote isn't behaving properly. "Shit!"

Jonathan notices his maneuvering mistake to late, but Lisa's excalmation from across the room let's him know all is not lost. Taking advantage of her momentary loss of control Jonathan moves forward with his blade whirring.

((god I'm a dork. All I can think whenever gmail sends me an email notification for a comment that's not yours is 'NO! I wanna play battle bots with Lisa Cuddy'))

Lisa's bot finally kicks into gear, but not in enough time to miss what will probably be a fatal blow to its hull, a huge tear showing in the metal and exposing some of its wiring. She whirls the bot around in a 360 to make one last attack straight into the front of Jonathan's bot, hoping to throw it into the wall by sheer momentum and spear it there.

Jonathan's bot isn't able to maneuver fast enough and is speared against the wall. Shiny bits of wire and hydraulic fluid dribble onto the floor and Jonathan's bot is defeated. One of it's wheels still moves, whirring uselessly in the air.

*Jonathan blinks at his dead bot before looking up at Lisa*

'That was awesome! Even if you totally pwned me, that was so cool!'
