The fog hadn't affected Loki in any other way than pissing him but that was enough for him. If radio had been right, things were going fucking pear shaped and he really didn't want to try and teach a class of rattled kids.

"We were going to talk about xenophobes today and we're still gonna do that but I'm gonna move it to next week when hopefully things here are a little fucking clearer," he said, shaking his head. "I'm not making this a movie day so you guys can do whatever the fuck you want. I'd advise against leaving right away because of the fucking fog but it's not like it's gonna get any better either. So, just use this as a class for what you will. I don't care, I'd just rather not teach when it looks like the fucking fog's gonna swallow the goddamn island."

With that, he took a seat and tried not to look grumpy.

Jake frowned and shifted the droid baby in his arms. At least the thing was quiet now. "Radio said something about a monkeypony." Which honestly, just sounded made up.

"No, demon as in 'scary evil monster from a hell dimension'," Kurt replied. One that hadn't really been there and had, in fact, been Dinah, but Kurt didn't know that. "Besides, honestly, vampires haven't been scary since Brad Pitt and Tom Cruise."

Jake shrugged a shoulder. "They're easy enough to beat," he said casually, as if he could do it on his own without his pack. "Leeches, I haven't seen an evil monster from a hell dimension yet." Whatever that was. "Did it attack you?"

"No, it... ran away," Kurt admitted. "But it LOOKED pretty scary. What about the monkey-ponies, though? If there's more than one kind of monster out there, we need to be prepared. And if there are vampires running around, there might be werewolves and mummies, too."

That got a snort from Jake. "Whatever's out there, we can handle," he said. Well, he thought he could because he full of himself enough like that.

Kurt looked dubious. "Maybe YOU can, but not all of us are good at monster-fighting." Never mind that he'd almost fought with Jake not all that long ago.

Kurt disappeared and reappeared behind Jacob. "I could help people stay out of the fog?" he suggested.

Jake jumped as Kurt's voice came from right behind him and he turned around brusquely, making Sedna start crying.

"That's... kind of cool. How did you do that?" he asked, while trying to shush the droid.
