The lack of being able to do anything to fix whatever Trickster-be-damned thing was going on was driving George a little bit nuts. He hadn't seen too many people that he worried about, an' if he couldn' fight, he could try t'use th'skills his mam had taught an' search through th' books for a solution.

The library was open from very early.

Kyle arrived early, having decided last night that the library was a good place to be today. It saved him stalking around the dorms restlessly or doing something stupid like being out in the fog. He raised a hand to wave to George in greeting, checked the windows and then took a seat near the door so he could keep an eye on who came in and out. He sat there quietly eating an apple.

Henry had decided he'd rather be a wimp than go out into the fog, and stayed in his office overnight. He'd showered in the gym -- staff were allowed to do that, right? -- but he still looked less than his best as he made yet another pot of coffee and took his place monitoring the researchers.

Feeding him wouldn't be a bad idea. He'd been forgetting to eat.

Jack spent part of the day in the library, trying to find more about von Slaptyback and dinosaur cloning. He wasn't getting much of anything that seemed to be useful, but the reading made him feel as if he was at least doing something helpful.

After talking to Didi yesterday, Jonas figured he could try and be of some use during...whatever this was. He knew that going outside would just put him in danger so he'd made for the library.

Books he could do. He could take note of the things he recognized on the whiteboard and he could look for familiarities in his own research.

Chloe had brought her laptop and her notebook down to the library in hopes of helping to figure out what in the hell was going on out there.

After getting a lift to the library, Harper hit the books to see if she could find anything that helped.

Cable came in fairly early in the day with a child strapped carefully to his chest. He first made a beeline for the board, considering the clues with a frown; then dwelled near the entrance for a short while.

Eventually, he dove into the library itself, but until then he was available.

Naomi decided that she'd spend the day researching in the library, seeing if she could find anything that would be helpful.

Morgana didn't know how useful she could be to the researchers since she still wasn't very familiar with most of the technology in the library, but she was perfectly capable of reading, so she took a seat and started trying to find anything useful in print form.

OCD STEALER! :P

Karla poked her head into the library and looked around. She was carrying food, as usual, but it was from the cafeteria, not Luke's or Fina. The fog was less unsettling to her stomach today, but that didn't mean she wanted to go out in it.

"I haven't seen this place so crowded since the other-Fandom this past summer," she said quietly. "If I'd known, I would have brought more food."

Someone had spent all of yesterday asleep after chasing Emma through peoples' brains.

"Aye they don' be seemin' t'know th'library's here unless somethin' goin' on," he agreed. "Tis good t'see ye though."

Karla gave him a smile. "Even though I only have cafeteria food as an offering?" she teased.

"Even if ye only had yerself," he teased back.

"So you say until that fateful day I don't bring lunch," Karla said, cheerfully ignoring the fact that there already had been days she hadn't brought lunch without George seeming at all put out by it. "Then we'll see."

She leaned on her elbows against the counter, looking back at the researchers. "How've you been?" she asked quietly. "Staying safe?"
