Study Hall --- Thursday, October 20th

Sarah sits at the front desk, leaning back in her chair with her feet up and looking like she's asleep. There's a few gigantic boxes of donuts, hot coffee and tea for anybody else who arrives in study hall as early as she has, and while it may look as if she's perfectly harmless like this, there is a pile of rubber bands very near her hand. The threat that she'll shoot them at anyone who bugs her is obvious.

(OOC: Forgive the mun, but she's just started a new night job and will be sleeping through a lot of the day, so it's either a few days a week of study hall bright and early or study hall late and dark.)

Callisto looks up. "What about Ethics class?"

"There's this little exercise coming up," Angelus said. "Don't know if you've heard about it."

"I'd heard rumours, nothing solid though."

"Have you heard that I'm one of the TAs," Angelus asked, "and that Prof Maclay asked for a lot of input from mea about this particular class project?"

Callisto raises an eyebrow. "That's either my cue to start worrying or bring popcorn."

"Popcorn, yes," Angelus grinned. "Worrying - that depends. Can you trust me?"

Callisto shrugs. "I trust you not to do anything which runs counter to your own best interests. Since I'm assuming teach would come down on you hard for actually damaging another student, I suppose that's a yes."

"Fair point," Angelus said. "Allow me to reword: How much would you trust me to do you a favor?"

"I'd wonder what you wanted in return, but I'd trust you not to backstab me out of hand."

"In this case, nothing," Angelus said. "Except your trust. See, I'm having a little fun here and since we haven't made out in, like, days now what's up with that you and I have a similar sense of humor I figured you might want some fun too. So it's possible I may have arranged things so you can enjoy the sidelines with me. But you have to trust me."

Callisto grins at Angelus. "Lack of supply closets maybe? I probably shouldn't, but I'll trust you. And cut your dead unbeating heart out with a spoon if you decide to betray me."

"Point. Though at some point I wouldn't hate trying this without tripping over a mop bucket. Good," Angelus grinned. "Because when you hear it you're going to want to not trust me. You may even want to punch me in the face. Which could lead to the supply closet again so hang on while I remind myself of the downside But just remember, I did it so we both could have fun."

Well, I hear teach is doing some interesting renovations to the Ethics classroom. I'll try and restrain myself.

"That's all I'm asking," Angelus said. "Give me to the end of class, get me alone, start groping and kissing and I shall explain all. Can we shake on it?"

Callisto extends her hand "Sure."

"Much obliged," Angelus shook her soft, tender hand. "Always nice working with you, Cal."

Callisto releases Angelus's cool, supple hand. "I aim to please."
