Study Hall --- Thursday, October 20th

Sarah sits at the front desk, leaning back in her chair with her feet up and looking like she's asleep. There's a few gigantic boxes of donuts, hot coffee and tea for anybody else who arrives in study hall as early as she has, and while it may look as if she's perfectly harmless like this, there is a pile of rubber bands very near her hand. The threat that she'll shoot them at anyone who bugs her is obvious.

(OOC: Forgive the mun, but she's just started a new night job and will be sleeping through a lot of the day, so it's either a few days a week of study hall bright and early or study hall late and dark.)

Paige goes over, "hey Rogue." she smiles, it's nice to be vaguely normal for a while

Rogue looks up from her doodles. "Hey Paige, what's up?"

Paige laughs hollowly, "you wouldn't believe me if I told you. How are you? Looks like you do your homework in the same way as me!" She gives her a genuine smile, she wasn't sure she still knew how

She desperately wants to tell her about Geoff, but worries that will bring Evil!Piage back

Rogue rolls her eyes. "Oh, you'd be surprised how much I believe." She grins at the doodles. Most of them look like hearts with letters in them, but a few are 3d boxes. "Well, I've been studying a lot lately, so I'm just tired out.

She looks over at Paige. "Are you okay?"

Paige bites her lip "I'm... coping." she quickly changes the subject "have you seen the amount of prep work Chaucer's given for his new course? It's ridiculous" Paige figures if she calls him "Chaucer" Evil!Paige won't mind as much

"Chaucer? Aren't you two...er, weren't you two...?" Rogue lets the sentance trail off.

She shakes her head, "No I have enough classes already. I want to maybe take it next term, though."

Paige looks up and nods, "we were yeah, but I can't really talk about it. I should have quit his courses really, but I really want to take the poetry one. It sounds pretty good."

Rogue nods. She certainly wouldn't have taken her exes classes--hell, she's only been in Deb;s once since she and Shane--but she wasn't going to think about that. "Yeah, I really wish I could have signed up, but I already have enough. Hell, shop alone is gonna make my crazy as a bedbug!"

Paige smiles glad to have something new to talk about, "Yeah that course sounded interesting. Isn't the guy teaching it an ex student or something? Which obviously not the weirdest thing here, but still."

"Yeah, and his hair! I thought Logan had bad hair!" SHe grins. "Today I had to brak out of a safe! I did pretty well though."

Paige laughs, "damn I should have taken that course, I mean with the orbing and everything that would have been a piece of cake!"

"Yeah, but I don't think Mac lets people use any special powers. Not that mine would really help me, unless I got ahold of Kitty." She rolls her eyes.

"So, you have anyone coming in parent's weekend?"

Paige nods "yeah our Grams is coming for all of us. I've never even met her so I'm kinda nervous about it. Piper Thinks she'll be proud of me, but I'm not so sure. I mean our records from our last school will have been tranferred right? Cos I got kicked out of my last school."

"I'm sure they do, but I doubt they'll tell your Grams about it. I think that stuff is mostly confidential." She smiles at Paige. "I'm sure she'll be very proud of you."

She looks down at her doodles, wishing they didn't say M+L because dear GOD now she felt pathetic. She starts scribbling them out.

Paige smiles watching her do this. "Don't worry your secret's safe with me and I say that as the person who was actually beginning to think Paige Chaucer sounded quite good. The people we love can have a weird affect on us"

"Love?" Rogue sounds slightly panicked. "No, no I don't love anyone. Espeically not Lo--HIM. He's a big jerk who thinks I'm 12, and doesn't notice me at all." She glares at her paper. "AND he's coming down for parent's weekend."

Paige blushes, "Oh god, sorry. I erm just assumed." she bites her lip looking very embarrassed and I didn't mean what I said either. I erm." Paige puts her head in her hands. "oh god!"

Rogue looks over at Paige, her eyes soft again. "Sugah, don't worry about it. I guess I do have a bit of a crush on him and by bit of a crush I mean I want to tear his clothes off and jump him and be his for ever and ever. He just annoys me, is all."

Paige looks up at her, but is still bright red, let's just keep this to ourselves then huh? I mean I didn't think it was that unreasonable at the time, I mean we were living together." she sighs, "men are more trouble than they're worth sometimes, well so I keep telling meself!"

"Paige, you're not bein' unreasonable. Y'all loved each other. A lot of people don't have that." She smiles. "I'm sure it'll all work out in the end."

She smiles, "yeah that's what everyone keeps saying, but I can't even go see him at the moment, she wouldn't like it."

Rogue blinks. "...She?" Her voice is cautious. Maybe this is why Paige has been acting strange lately. Everyone was talking about it.

Paige looks at Rogue, her eyes are full of fear but's trying to cover it, "erm yeah, Phoebe, she thinks I should stay away for awhile while I get my head straight!"

"...Right." It's clear that Rogue doesn't believe a word of it, but she decides to let it go. "If you ever want to talk about it, or anything, just let me know. I'll listen."
