Outdoor Fitness and Strategy [Monday, Period One]

It was raining and the class wasn't meeting in the Danger Shop. This could only end well.

"Good morning, class," Bond began, clapping his hands together in the most disgustingly cheerful manner he could manage. "Today we're going to be doing a stealth exercise."

He pointed to a random student. "You will stay here with me while the rest of the class will have between five and ten minutes to make their way to the preserve and find the best place to conceal themselves that they can, after which your erstwhile classmate will come looking for you," he explained. "If they succeed in finding your hiding place and tapping you out, then you will join in with their search, until we either run out of time, or there is only one person left hiding, in which case we'll start again with that person as the new searcher.

"While you may not leave the preserve, you may use any non-powered method to conceal yourself which does not put yourself or another student at risk. You may also try to avoid detection by moving around, but if you are caught out in the open, then you'll automatically be considered tapped."

"Your time starts now."

Playing hide and seek in the rain really didn't bother Gwynn. She just pretended she was back home and avoiding the Sheriff's men.

Jonas waited about ten minutes while the rest of his class hid and then, while wiping water out of his eyes, started into the woods to try and find his classmates.

He just hoped he didn't end up with a face full of mud.

Kurt shimmied up the tallest tree he could find and clung to its topmost branches. He made sure the sleeve of his jacket was keeping his watch dry, curled up, and waited.

And got wet and miserable.

Robin loved the rain. And thought this was the best class ever.

Deciding that the ability to breathe underwater probably counted as a power, he concealed himself among the mossy roots of a tree, concealing his eyes with leaves.

Lots of mud. Mud was good. Elena took a few minutes to solidly cover up any patches of bright color she had on herself. Next step: finding a place near one of the trees where she'd blend in to the background, and staying perfectly and totally still.

Kyle's idea of hide and seek was to run as far away as he could and get low.

Zayne's clothes for this class were in earth tones anyway, so he managed a decent attempt at hiding in a muddy area.

Yes, his hair was going to be horrible to clean, but to be honest, it wasn't like he hadn't been in worse by accident.
