... Some days, it was possibly a worse idea than others for Algren to decide that he'd like to get actual tea from his cupboards for class before coming to work. Because some days, you never knew when there might be a rogue gremlin, poking through the matcha before he'd get there.

Which would probably explain the setup of the Danger Shop to some degree, yes. The room seemed to be set up as per a traditional Japanese tearoom, and Algren would probably thank the lot of you later for remembering the proper procedures for seating yourself in a public gathering scenario. Because the rest of the class really wasn't going to be about tea ceremonies at all, if the gaggle of Danger Shop generated Geishas had anything to do with it.

Or, for that matter, the fact that their teacher was currently wearing full geisha regalia as well, makeup and all.

He would be the easy one to spot out of all of the girls. He would be the pretty, pretty geisha with the beard.

Right about now would be a good time for some music to kick in, wouldn't it? And for one geisha to take her place on either side of Algren, so that they could perform a lovely song and dance number?

But of course.

Which isn't so much a lecture as it is a stunning song and dance number. With pretty pink kimonos and fluttering fans and a good deal of girlish tittering.

Ino totally had her phone out for this--no way would she not.

Really, the hardest part was keeping her hand steady while giggling.

She'd be sorry later, if Algren-sensei objected.

... Okay, not really.

But she'd say she was sorry.

This was totally insane.

It was also hysterical.

Didi laughed and applauded.

Morgana looked at the others before allowing herself to laugh. She didn't want to be the only one, no matter how amusing this was.

Yeah, Kate would just be over here, laughing so very hard.

Momoko was not a traditional girl, but she was sure Professor Algren, who seemed to really be serious about the old ways and stuff, was going to be totally upset at having something like this happen in a tea room.

Still she was giggling madly as she hummed along to the catchy tune, wondering if she could ask where Professor Algren where he'd gotten that totally awesome pink kimono.

Elena was laughing too hard to hold the camera still, so this footage was going to be wobbly as hell.

No, she didn't have reason to blackmail Professor Algren, but having material like that never hurt ....

Jill thanked God for cameraphones, and tried her darnedest to hold said phone steady despite shaking with laughter. The best part was, after long enough in this school, she figured it was a toss-up whether this was intentional or gremlin bite.

Drink tea. As served by geishas. Pretty, pretty schoolgirl geishas. Who all unwary come from a ladies' seminary.

Annja had tea... and carefully sent a message to her best friend about all of this, too.

Geisha costumes were hot. Not that Elena was potentially wondering about the kinky applications therein. ... Much.

Ino supposed that, had she been a nice TA, that she could have found some way of minimizing Algren-sensei's embarrassment (how? she had no idea) but, as she wasn't a nice TA at all...

Fair warning, I have never, ever seen The Mikado. And don't even know the name of the characters singing this song. Which could either make this awesome, or absolutely, entirely terrible. :D My money is on the latter.
