Newspaper meeting, Friday after classes, Journalism Room [3/12]

There were no finished newspapers this week. There were no cupcakes or donuts or other refreshments, either. However, there was a teenage girl who thought she was a mime, and from the looks of things, she was trapped in a box.

And since it was the newspaper staff meeting, there were plenty of cameras around to capture the moment! Hoshi was going to hate herself when the gremlin venom wore off.

The mime is pouring invisible cups of tea for everyone.

Ellie stared. A lot. Mimes were creepy even when they were her friends.

The mime poured another invisible cup of tea and offered it to Ellie. Creepy or not, the mime still had her manners.

Joan was torn between horror and amusement. She settled on going with amusement.

The mime took her invisible teapot and poured an invisible cup of tea, then offered it to Joan.

The mime is writing down invisible suggestions on an invisible whiteboard.

"I'll just continue with the business spotlight," Ellie said, still boggling.

The mime grinned and nodded enthusiastically without making a sound.

"I'm thinking about writing an expose on gremlin bites," Joan joked.

The mime really liked this idea. It silently applauded, then went back to climbing an invisible rope.

When she pings in.

She was there, and wondering if a good adviser would isolate Ms. Sato for her own well-being.
