It wasn't like she would be mad if they didn't though.

"If you'll pass in your spells, I'll program a simulation for you to test it out."

Raven didn't have to make up a demon to vanquish. She knew a simple spell wouldn't work, either, but it would be nice to pretend it would stop her father.
