Study Hall, Wednesday [03/10]

Ziva was feeling very studied out when it came to her citizenship exam, so she'd brought a regular book to study hall instead this week. It had been on one of the recommended shelves at the book store, and didn't look like a stealthy romance novel; that was all she needed to be satisfied enough to check it out.

Ziva was only through the first chapter, and there were already people being beheaded by an opposing army. This was a very good sign.

Ziva wasn't sure if it was good that the protagonist got kidnapped by the enemy, but she supposed there wouldn't be much to the book if he died right away.

It wasn't terribly surprising when the protagonist made his enemies his new family. The warriors were cooler anyway, as far as Ziva was concerned.

The study hall was open for lunch, if anyone wanted to eat and study at the same time.

Ziva thought it was amusing that this was when she hit the bloodiest battle of the book so far. Mmmm carnage.

Ziva was tempted to throw the book when the good army was savagely murdered by their enemy, but she didn't want to accidentally whack a student, even if it was a paperback.

Ziva tried to read faster as it got closer to the end of the day, wanting to know how the protagonist would get his inevitable bloody revenge.

She'll totally put the book down if you need her.

One problem with the Kindle that few people mention - it makes it a lot harder to throw a book when it makes you angry. ;)
