Journalism Class - Wednesday October 19

Spider's nowhere to be seen. Instead there's a large notice which reads:

Dealing with nudity fallout.

This class session is to be devoted solely to the discussion of this topic. I'd like a concensus as to whether or not you wish to do this... or whether a display of your current homework will do. I am monitoring progress on these projects, by the way - at least of those of you following the directions.

Miss St. Clair and Delerium still have no other partners and I'm going to have to ask one of the already settled teams to absorb them or I'll have to assign someone to them at random and we'll have two teams of three.

"Morning." Krycek sat down by Jake, looking bemused, and glanced over Jake's shoulder curiously at his notes.

Jake waved hello as he picked up his phone. After a moment he hung up again, looking confused. "That was the boss. Apparently we need to be at the clinic, like, now."

"Do we?" Krycek frowned, then slid out of his chair with a slight stretch. "Let's go then."

Rogue signs in, and starts doodling on her notebook. Some of the doodle/notes are related to the assignment, most are not.

Rory wanders in, thinking about how she can convince House and Wilson to give that damn endorsement.

Returning to the classroom, Jake and Krycek are glad to see that they don't have to go room by room through the school to find Rory. A step ahead of Jake, Krycek walks up, nodding to her politely. "Rory. Professor Jerusalem asked us to get something from you."

Rory raises her brows. "Oh...um, okay. What is it?"

"We need a gadget he might have given to you to use on the treasure hunt field trip," Krycek explains. "It's rather urgent that we get it, if possible."

"Oh...that thing," Rory says, recognition dawning on her face. "Yeah, it's in my room. Do you want to come with me while I get it, or wait here...?" she asks, gesturing vaguely to the door.

Jake gave her a quick look. "We'll wait here, I think. Shouldn't take long, right?"

Rory nods, and strides out of the room, breaking into a light jog as soon as she hits hallway.

Jake looked after her, then turned to Krycek. "So, I'm back post-it-ing with Logan."

Krycek leaned back against a desk-edge, giving Jake a curious look. "Yeah? What's the consensus so far?"

Jake waved his hand. "Hard to say. But at least he's stopped threatening to set my stuff on fire. That's progress, I guess."

"I guess. Are you still refusing to move out?" He looked a bit bemused by the whole thing, but he wanted to know if there was anything he was going to have to worry about.

"Yup. I like my room, and my mess." Jake shrugged. "Besides, that'd be stupid. Moving because of this I mean."

Rory canters back in, her cheeks flushed, just in time to hear Jake's statement.

"I'm inclined to agree," she says, arching her brows at him. She holds out the life-sign detector. "Is this the thing Professor J. wants?"

"If it's what he gave you, then it's what we want," Krycek says, taking the gadget. "Thanks." He nods to Rory, then glances at Jake. "Now we go find Han."

Jake sighed. "Do we really have to find the art professor? Can't Callisto (that is, I) teach art instead?" He was already walking towards the door though.

George raises her hand. "I vote for working on and displaying what we've done so far on our main homework assignment."

After returning from her room with Jake and Alex thing, Rory raises her hand.

"I second that." She turns to George. "And I talked to Dr. Wilson about an endorsement from the clinic. He and House are going to think it over."

"Thirded. Not sure if I could take on too projects at once in one class and maintain all my other classes and their projects."
