Battles That Changed History, Second Period, Friday 1/29
"Due to circumstances beyond my control," by which Steve meant 'all my materials were wrecked,' "your scheduled lecture for this week has been canceled. However, I've found an alternative way for you to learn about one of the battles we would have covered that I think you'll all enjoy." Steve gestured to the bowls of popcorn and the sodas that indicated that yes: this was movie week. "We also have refreshments. I encourage you to learn about the Battle of the Nile and the Sack of Rome on your own, but in the meantime, we're going to watch a film that starts at a fictionalized version of the Battle of the Teutoburg Forest. Enjoy the movie."
