Today, at the front of the class was a TV and a DVD player.

"I'm sorry to say that there was a bit of a... family emergency for me this week, so we'll be watching a movie." He held up the case. "Suffice to say it doesn't actually have much to do with today's subject, but I thought it might be amusing, considering the title. Either way, you're welcome to stay and watch. I've brought in some treats from JGOB off to the side over there, and a few drinks as well."

And Nick slunk back to his desk as the film started.

Alex didn't so much mind movie days (they were relaxing) but this movie was painful to sit through at points. Who let that guy be an actor anyway?

Alice was going to help herself to the free food and wonder why the large, bald man didn't act very well. Perhaps he was doing it on purpose, to be amusing.

Ellie tried to take the movie seriously, but it did not take her long to give up on that.

Even if the movie was fairly terrible, there were pastries and that more than made up for it. Well, it almost made up for it anyway.
