BWI Airport, Portalocity Port, Saturday Morning

Timing had worked in Bruce's favor this morning. After a long overnight flight from Japan, he was really early for the shuttle to Fandom. That was according to plan. This way he'd get to see how people came into the room marked "Fandom High," whether they were nervous, or excited, or annoyed at the very thought of having to go to school.

Those first impressions didn't necessarily mean anything, but Bruce felt they often gave a good insight into how his new classmates would react in a stressful situation. You never knew when that kind of thing might come in handy.

[OOC: OCD is coming up!]

"Not at all," Fraser assured him, shaking his head. "While there are many people willing to share, there are just as many that don't. I'm engaged and have eight dogs. That's about as much as most people but my closest friends know."

"Eight?" Henry repeated. "Impressive. How'd you end up with that many?"

He'd never kept pets -- it seemed impractical, and Clare had allergies -- but he liked them when they belonged to other people.

"I had one myself, she had six and we've added two more," he explained. "It seems like a lot but several of them are small so you could almost count them as half a dog."

Or not. Fraser's sense of humor wasn't the best.

Henry smirked anyhow, mostly in sympathy. "So they're like ... miniature dogs. Like sliders instead of hamburgers."

"Exactly that," Fraser said, laughing. "Dief is usually with me but I left him with Robin today. He's a full grown hamburger. And he's quite the whiner sometimes."
