So, it was officially the last day of this class. Loki had toyed with the idea of giving some hard as shit final just to be a bastard but even he couldn't make himself do that. Instead, he'd brought in some donuts and there were a few books spread out across a table at the front of the room.

"Welcome back," he greeted, giving them all a wave. "Since I was only your teacher for about half a semester, I didn't want to try and give you a final on shit I didn't know and shit you may not remember. So, instead, I brought in some breakfast and got some books on fairy tales from the library. As far as I know, they all have some type of magical animal. For your final, pick one of the books, read it and then tell everyone if you'd do anything different with the magical creature in the book. That's it. Easy, right? Don't say I never fucking gave you anything."

With that, he grabbed a donut and took a seat.

Maron was pretty sure that at her old school if any of the teachers did this that the rest of them would have collectively fainted...

She mildly wondered if it ought to bother her that this sort of class didn't bother her as much as it would have before here.

Either way, she was totally nibbling on a doughnut.

Zack grabbed a book really quite at random, and kind of blinked and headtilted as he read about the cockatrice in the story. Actually, it seemed a heck of a lot like the cockatolis back on his own world because FFVII is a terrible translation and so its name is in Engrish, and so he gave his shoulders a shrug.

"I don't know about weasels and mirrors and rooster calls," Zack mused, "I'm pretty sure that swords work on them just as well, and you don't have to worry about turning to stone just so long as you're wearing the right accessory, anyhow."

... This sort of thing happened pretty often back on Gaia. Trust Zack. He was totally a pro at this.
