Ghanima had had a sense of tingling unease all weekend, like something was scratching behind her eyes, wanting to be seen. A tingling she had pointedly ignored, which had only served to make it so bad, she had taken to bed and not gotten any of the prep for today's class finished.

She wanted no part of the prescience of her brother or father, thank you.

"We're watching a movie today," she said as everyone came in. "There's a handout right over there, and we'll actually discuss Hinduism as a religion next week."

"There usually is, when there's an animal transformation involved," she said tranquilly. "I'm guessing that it was inconvenient nudity then. My condolences."

"Other than the not being able to turn back or talk parts, it wasn't too horrible," Merlin replied. "Flying is rather fun."

"If you dive-bombed anyone, I don't think I'm allowed to know about it," Ghanima cautioned. "Least I be forced to assign extra homework for malicious acts of birding."

"Good. Then you'll only have the two pages of Latin work to translate that you missed while feathered," she said cheerfully. "We discussed Shinto in class; you can either get the notes from a classmate, or stop by my office later to pick up my lesson."
