ATTENTION STUDENTS:

In preparation for Parents' Weekend, the Student Council and Administration ask that you please let us know the following information:

If you are expecting someone to visit over Parents' Weekend

The name of your parent/guardian/ward/etc.
Relation
Where they will be staying (remember, there are hotel accommodations in town)
If they will be bringing a weapon (they will be forced to follow the weapons ban as well)
Any additional special needs they many have

If you have more than one person visiting, please make that clear, and provide the neccessary information for each visitor.

Additionally, if you have any ideas, questions, or concerns about Parents' Weekend or Student Council in general, feel free to shoot us an email.

((Yay! Let's all hear it for the incestuous nature of SG relationships! And I only registered for Uncle George because he was coming as Janet's guest. I figured we'd have one for each of us?

[Uncle George is General Hammond. We're bringing him in instead of Big!Jack. Cannon-wise no one is related, and it's the same here. They're all just faking relation and having Uncle George and Murray come for everyone.]

[Gotcha. And Rory's going to continue to think they're related, and just a big, messy, incestuous family. It's good she's the 'don't ask, don't tell' sort, really.]

[Can't wait for Rory's reactions. If all goes according to plan by the time Parent's Weekend is over nearly everyone (All people who don't know about the whole "Not real teens" thing) should think the same thing too.]

((You know, there was not nearly enough groping or molesting at the last Refugee party either. :( It was sad.))

((Well, we were missing some people--Liz conked out early, Daniel was AWOL, Val and Cam were all emo!...we need better planning next time.))

((I know, it was sad! We'll have to warn people a week or two in advance of the next one. That should be doable, don't you think? I'm sad we can't let Cam in, but he's a teenager and doesn't know about the SGC, and this is one of those "SG-only grownups in teenage bodies plus Daniel if he ever shows up, the dork" kind of things))

[I don't know about the others but I was bouncing through four threads and trying to figure out where what was happening anyway.]

((Me too. We hit over 600 comments. OTOH, it was better organized than the first party threadwise, so that's good. We'll get better next time.))

[Oh yes, the first party was fun but it was all over the place. The next one... I've got a few ideas here and there to help line things up better.]
