"I thought," Steve said wryly, "this being an art class, you might like to mess around with paints for once. So, everyone has oils, brushes, a palette, and a canvas. Go to it. There's no assigned topic this week. Just paint whatever you feel like."

Mr. Rodgers hadn't even finished talking before Anemone was twisting her hair up and out of the way, and fishing her headphones out of her bag.

She'd finish the class with paint on her face, arms, and the tips of her hair anyway, but it was still fun.

Alex grinned, making sure her hair was out of the way before she started playing around with the paint and the canvas. Yeah, she loved this class.
