Anyone Can Cook | Period 4 | 10.20

Colette looked half-asleep as she stood before the class today. "We were supposed to cook fish today," she said. "But I just got off a plane from Paris and I think if I try to cook, I will slice open my skin with the knife or scald myself. This is not good."

"So today we have a free cooking class. Use anything in the kitchen to make something you would like to eat if you were about to fall dead from the jetlag. I can try to help if you wish, or you may work together. And of course the leftovers are yours to take along."

Who is not *actually* asleep in class, much as she would like to be.

Kate gave up on really doing anything pretty quickly. Cooking with her hair over her face didn't seem like a good idea, and she wanted to keep at least most of her still-blue face covered. She didn't want to hear too many questions about it.

So she stood around, vaguely attempting to look like she was actually doing something.

Priestly

Priestly was definitely not asleep. In fact, he might even be slightly wired. Someone might've had a little too much coffee, this morning.

Priestly spent a little while looking around at various ingredients and trying to pick out a good comfort food.

Other than sandwiches.

Hey, he was trying to broaden his horizons.

Helens blue was fading, but she was still keeping her head down and staying out of the way. She made a chicken, cheddar cheese soup and stuffing casserole.

Joan decided to bake some cookies. They were easy and delicious.

Sam Winchester

Sam had gotten pretty good at making soup, so he decided to make one that was spicy. If it didn't get rid of jetlag, at least figuring out what ingredients to use to make the spicy flavor would get his mind off of the bits of blue paint still on his face.
