Rory takes a seat next to Marty, crossing her ankles demurely and folding her hands over her knee.
"Hello Marty, sir," she says, nodding once at each of them and smiling.

Elizabeth enters, carrying a cup of coffee.
"Is it permissable for me to drink in in here, sir?"

She smiles at him, before crossing the room to sit next to Rory, and lowers her bag carefully to the floor.

Marty scribbles out a message:
"Where's the tattoo, Gilmore?"
and hands it to Rory.

Rory reads it. "Marty, there are many reasons why I won't be getting that tattoo, first and foremost being that I am way too pretty my mother would kill me."
Faith walks into the room. There may be some dog hair on her pants.
Rory smiles back, fidgeting slightly.
"Did you have a good weekend at your grandparents?" Elizabeth asks quietly, after casting a glance around the room.
Rory nods. "It was okay. I left early, because...I had issues with my grandma. But they gave me my birthday present," she adds, reaching into her pocket and pulling out the keys to her Prius.
"Better introduce me to a cat, then," Rory says, arching a brow. "Since that's what you seem to think poultry enjoy."
"Oh, cool... what is it?"
Another note: "Muppet!Chicken. There's a difference. If a Muppet!chicken can hang out with a bear, frog, pig and whatever Gonzo was then why not a cat."

Phoebe enters, carrying notebook and a large beverage of which we can only assume is caffeine.
"Ah, yes, but is it a Muppet!cat? No? Then not compatible."
"A Toyota Prius," Rory says, smiling. "Pretty, functional, goes fast, and is also one of the most fuel-efficient and ecologically-sound cars around."
Elizabeth grins. "Yeah, they're cute. God, I'd kill for a car again Maybe I should ask Jack considering he's giving out all sorts of presents recently"
Yet another note:"Uh-huh. Like stranger things have happened in Fandom. Rover/Lily? CJ/Doctor? Callisto/Angelus?"
