Swordplay - 3rd Period - 10/1

It was that day. That maaagical day. Finally, people would be allowed to get with the fighty.

Deadpool was all a twitter. And possibly updating his Twitter. Who knows?

OMFG class is starting. I need a better cellphone.

"So, we all know what today is, riiiiiight class?" Deadpool asked, pacing the danger shop as he shoved his cell phone back in one of the handy pouches. "Oh yeah, it's the day you all get to try out the swords for realio."

He waved over toward some vests, helmets and foils.

"Since, this is the first one time, we'll start easy with fencing foils. They make a beeping noise when you poke someone with them."

There was a pause before he rather suddenly poked one of his TAs with it to get an obnoxious beep. "See?"

Arthur shot him a look that was distinctly unamused, but chose to say nothing. For now.

Next time he was gonna pick the fun TA to stab.

"So, partner up and see if you can play Frere Jacque with the beeps!"

Anemone had been sulking about the idea of helmets, but her face lit up when he poked Arthur. It beeped.

Sometimes, she was very much her years-awake-age of seven, rather than her bio-age.

Mat already had a hat, a very nice hat that he liked quite a lot.

...but it didn't beep.
