Art 101 - Wednesday, Period Four - 9/30

Today, the classroom was pretty basic and there was a television up front as opposed to the usual projector.

"I'm sorry about this," he admitted with a shrug, "but I hope you enjoy the film at least. There's.... snacks and things. I'm not that good with coffee or food, but I hope I've provided fully moddable appropriate snacks."

He dimmed the lights and started the movie.

"If there are any elements to the art in the film that you'd like to discuss, please feel free to ask at the end of class or during office hours."

Raven was puzzled by the movie. It was full of fighting and violence, but the cartoon nature of it blunted the impact. She wasn't asking to be excused, at least not yet.

Jack found himself drawn into the movie against his better judgment, even as he wondered what it might have to do with art.

...I thought it was appropriate considering some of this (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kung_Fu_Panda#Production). Also so I can link to and share this (http://www.shanghartgallery.com/galleryarchive/artists/name/zhaobandi/key) crazy guy's gallery; he was reportedly insulted by the movie because they gave the panda green eyes and 'green eyes mean evil'.
