Fencing Club - Salle, Monday Afternoon

Zayne and Azula's special training swords were left at the end of the regular training swords as Edmund addressed the group.

"This is our fourth meeting. Coming back this often takes dedication and I hope these sessions are useful for you. If there's anything in particular you'd like to learn or practice or have discussed or demonstrated here, please come and talk to me. As I promised last week, this time we'll move into basic attacking drills." He demonstrated. "Beginners and anyone wanting to join in, have a try and once you get the hang of it, try incorporating your footwork. It's best if you partner up and practice against each other to get a feel for where your opponent will be. You'll have to get used to having someone across from you anyway. Those with experience, if you spar today try to focus on disarming your opponent."

Emma had been tempted to spend an extra day in the City, but the fact fencing club was today had been enough to lure her back.

She wasn't exactly social, but she was there, and might or might not bite.

Algren was here as well, his sword at his hip, standing with his hands clasped behind his back near the doorway. As always, he was watching the students like a hawk, yes. Just to be on the safe side.
