Philosophy classroom: office hours, Monday afternoon

Tara is in her office from noon, in the event that any students want to talk to her, drawing what looks like (should anyone peer over to see it) a sketch of a padded room.

[ooc: Mun, being in the Black Hole that is Australia, is posting this now because I'm online for another 2-3 hours and then gone until FH evening.]

[ooc: And, worse, the missing out on totally wonderful plots because they start and finish during the time you're asleep? Yeah. Last night was the first time I've gotten to bed before midnight since I started playing, and I practically passed out on the couch. And my 3yo alarm-clock daughter wakes me up regardless of when I get to bed.]

((No problem. Tara's basically spending any unposted time there, just keeping Maia company. There have been vague threats from Bad!Ash to write rude words on her unconscious body, and Duce has played her a CD of Anakin singing 'Little Buffy Foo Foo', because even unconscious it has to be heard. Tara's trying to find out who Maia's friends are, to let them know - Aziraphale is devastated that he's not allowed on campus and can't get to her.))

((omg where is the link to the bunny foo foo that is awesome. Can Tara do what Willow did with Buffy and see Maia in her mind where she is? I always thought that was an awesome episode and it just hit me that maybe Tara could do that. Yeah I read that one with Aziraphale that was precious. Maia's closest friend is Phoebe. She is a lab partner in Biology to Lana. Anyway dream thing where Tara can see her.. does Tara do that like Willow?))

Parker takes a breath, gets her irritation under control. "You probably didn't pick up on it in class, but Angelus and I aren't exactly buddies. I'm wondering why you put us on the same team." She folds her arms. "I don't mind the topic. I don't even mind being volunteered. But I'm not sure we'll be effective as a team."

Tara frowns. "I did notice some tension, actually, but you seemed to be discussing just beatifully despite it." She bites her lip, thinking for a moment. "Parker, the two of you provoke each other's thinking. Some antagonism in a debating team is useful - you stand a better chance of anticipating what your opposition will say against you. But if you really feel your personal feelings make you unable to work together, I can find someone else for this debate."

Parker thinks, tapping a finger against her arm. Flattered as she is to be asked to debate, she's not sure she can get through the week without doing *something* to land her and Angelus in detention.

On the other hand... It would be a good opportunity to stab a few questions at him. Jab a few soft spots, see if anything makes him flinch.

She sighs. "I'll talk to him. I don't want to withdraw. I'll let you know by tomorrow if you need someone else."
