The Club Fair - Gym - Friday Afternoon

Today was the day of the club fair! Wasn't it just so exciting?!

Jean was totally excited.

So excited, in fact, that she showed up early to find it just as everything was being set up like the little overachiever she was. Maybe she'd be able to swing voters here!

Oh look! The club schedule! This was going to be so great, right everyone?!

"I am not averse to to the burping, but might need to make slight modifications to my current digestive system." Adaptation was compromise, but this had become an existence of one compromise after another.

"What qualifies one to be a 'guy?'" She could dig for the word; there was a dead girl in the back of her head who would be only too happy to tell her, but she wished to hear this one's definition, not Winifred Burkle's.

... What was it with all of these women trying to join the frat. "A 'guy'," Arthur said, helpfully leaning sideways once again to intervene, "Would be a man. Someone who isn't of the female persuasion." Hint, hint.

"Well, not to get too crude, but you don't have the...look of a guy," he said, trying to be gentle. "If you wanna get biological, well..."

Hannibal just looked down so he wouldn't have to actually ask if she had one in the middle of a club fair.

"My biology is not human," she said to Hannibal, a half-truth, but close enough. She looked down uncomprehendingly, then back up and over to Arthur. "The female persuasion. A woman."

"Yes," Arthur said, finding himself... somewhat put off by all that. "A woman."

"I am not. This shell once belonged to a human female, but that person is dead."

... Well, no one had ever established that one to Arthur.

"So you weren't," he started, quizically, "Born a woman, were you?"

"I was spawned from the deeper chaos, and I was spawned a king." That... might be a statement on par with trained since birth to kill, but it really hadn't taken all that long. Ancient chthuloid entities mature quickly.

Arthur was not so sure this would be the smartest thing to do, now. He threw Hannibal a look.

"Uh." Hannibal had been blinking owlishly during that entire exchange before he said, perhaps unwisely, "I don't know if you...technically qualify."

Unwisely, yes.

"You wish me to adapt this body's external genitalia to join your group?" Illyria considered the concept. "You think highly of yourselves, but it's not beyond my capabilities."

Maybe. She'd never tried it. A slightly more complex modulation of the form than simply changing a color, but the hell if she was going to back down from the challenge. She reached for the fastening at the top of her armor and began to undo it.

"Oh dear god no no no no," Hannibal said, hand going to cover his eyes lest she start getting naked in the middle of the damn club fair. "Don't do that!"

"No," Arthur hastened to join him, "Let's not do that. We've seen enough. You may join. Just keep your genitals to yourself."

Illyria gave him a look. "I had no intention of gifting you with them. They are not detachable."

"...Yes, thank you for that image," Arthur said, a little faintly, "But I wasn't implying that they were."

"What he said," Hannibal said, eyes still covered. "You're in. Just remember to sign up."

"Your gratitude is noted." She leaned down to print

on the sheet in front of them, in Winifred Burkle's neat, round handwriting.
