Yup. There was still food. And tables. Nothing new about any of that, sadly. But maybe there would be shirtlessness? One can always hope, ya know. Dream big.

"I kinda... needed a break from stuff happening at my other school, so the headmaster sent me here for summer camp. I liked it more than I thought I would and ended up asking to stick around," he still felt a little guilty about leaving the others, but... New York wasn't terribly far away. And they had a jet now! It'd be fiiiiine.

"This place is pretty awesome," Tony agreed.

"Once you get used to all the weird time and dimension stuff, yeah."

"Okay, yeah," Tony said. "Do you have a lot of weird where you're from?"

"Kinda, yeah?" Bobby said with a shrug. "But it's kinda nothing compared to here, where found out there's someone who knows a younger me and someone who knows an older me."

"Yeah, the time stuff is probably the weirdest part," Tony said. "Do you have magic where you come from?"

"Sorta?" Bobby admitted. "I don't do magic- I can't even manage card tricks- but I've heard of people with the non-card-trick kind." Mostly the truth! He was just leaving out the part where he'd also met Dr. Strange.

"I'm a wizard," Tony said.

"No kidding!" Bobby's jaw dropped a little. Because seriously, this guy just looked like a normal kid. No weird cape or anything. "Really?"

Tony grinned. Using a bit of energy, he sketched a five-pointed star made of blue light in the air between himself and Bobby.

"Okay, that's cool," Bobby had to admit. He was quiet for a moment, seemingly contemplating something, and then: "Best I can do is this." He held out a hand, concentrating on cooling and shaping the moisture in the air until he was holding a little star-shaped chunk of ice. He gave Tony a tentative look, not quite able to hide his worry about how he would react. First time letting someone know about his powers right off the bat was kind of scary, okay?

"Wow, that's awesome! It's not magic, though?" Tony asked.

"Nope. Good old-fashioned mutant, that's me," Bobby said with a shrug, glad Tony seemed to be reacting okay.

"That's like a metahuman, right? Powers, but not magic?"

"Metawha?" Bobby asked. "It's something in my DNA, though."

"That sounds like the same kind of thing," Tony said, frowning a little. Genetics were really not his area. "One of my best friends is a metahuman."

Really not Bobby's either, but when your best friend was Henry McCoy, a few things tended to seep in. "Do they go to school here? Or do you mean, uh, back home?"

"Here," Tony said. "I don't think we have metahumans at home. Her name's Dinah."

"Oh!" Bobby grinned. "I've met her! She's really nice!" One of the few people who could keep up with his energy level, even.

"She is! She's awesome," Tony grinned back.
