Better late than never! Sidekicks and Zombies, oh my!

All right All right All right, here’s the winner of our sidekick costume contest:

Lane_drum’s design followed the guidelines best, and is least likely to get my particularly attractive nether regions attacked, in a negative way, by the principal, so she’s the designer of the hour.

Congrats! Also, nice gams Mr. Malfoy. I pretty much suspected.

Now, for next week’s designs. After a night of binge drinking careful thought and consideration, I’ve picked out next week’s theme.

Zombie Chic!

I figure it’s been enough time since the attacks that this won’t cause any more severe psychological damage than you already incur daily.

As we all know, Zombies are putrid, hell-sprung cannibals, literally secreting away their own rotting skin and organs. Doesn’t mean they can’t look sharp! In keeping with the idea the Zombies are literally deteriorating onsite, I want you all to design outfits that would make them look absolutely fabulous while they eat your brains out.

Keep in mind that what you find keen and hoopy, a Zombie may not. And don’t worry, as always, your partner will be modeling the design. No Zombie will enter the classroom that isn’t already enrolled in the course.

I think you've got the wrong class, rib-man. This here is fashion, not ethics. Way I see it, I want the creature attempting to eat my brains to at least have the decency to dress up for the occasion.

*DEATH stands up dramatically, banging his scythe on the ground dramatically. Despite his best efforts, however, it feels almost contrived. Like he's seen this in a movie.*

Lane's design was simple this time around. A black show-choir-like outfit (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v112/rosetapestry/choir4.jpg) with silver sequins, chunky silver boots, and a red Sequin Brando Cap (http://www.villagehatshop.com/product1518.html) to match.

Logan's design was a long, loose set of flowing, bright orange silk robes, of different sizes, lengths, and hemlines. No accessories were included.

Draco designs an outfit for a male zombie. The top was a long sleved red shirt, since that where he figured most of the blood would be spilled. The bottoms were black pants that would be easy to walk in. And zombies have really ugly legs so it's best to cover them up.

Barbossa tapped his pencil against his lips for a long time before he began to sketch. The zombies he had seen lurching through town had favored the tattered look, so he improved on that with some better, more slime-resistant fabrics. Lots of flow, but they still included a basic aura of menance. He figured half the reasons zombies were around was to terrify, and they wouldn't be able to do that in bright pink sequins.

He sat back, imagined the look on Quinn's face when she had to model the outfit, and smiled.

He wondered if the fabric would work for sails, too should he ever be captain of a ship crewed by the damned.
