"Right," Glinda said, "performances are next week. I look forward to what you will show for each of your pieces. Today you will have free time to work on your project, and ask me questions about it, if you so desire. Please work quietly, and take as much of the food as you like."

Glinda had gotten creative today, and all the food and drinks were items that were referenced in songs: cherry Coke, slider cheeseburgers, canned peaches, candy, pizza and pasta fazool.

Yes, she had no bananas.

Priestly grabbed some sliders and coke, sat down, and proceed to attempt a badass drum riff on the various hard surfaces surrounding his desk.

Because girl-drummers were badass.

Yeah. Too bad he was no good at the hyper-active beat punk stuff he was attempting.

Peyton laughed and blushed a little. "Well, not from that side."

"I think it's different when they grow with you, you know?" Peyton said. "Waking up with other bits is just... wrong."

"How about wrong for me?" Peyton suggested. "Far be it for me to suggest people shouldn't be able to change their bits if they want, but I'd rather have my own."
