As usual, Ronon was waiting in the Danger Shop when students arrived. "Go get dressed out, then we'll get started," he told them, waiting in the green of ~~Vancouver~~ the Danger Shop-made forest and pointing toward the usual locker room doors.

Once everyone seemed to be back and uniformed up, he began his lecture. "Okay, like I warned last week, we're learning about dealing with teammates this week. Which means you're working with each other. My last assignment was a team of four made up of a leader, a soldier, an ambassadorial type, and a scientist. No one gets left behind on a team. Unlike what we've been talking about this session where your job is to save you, when you're part of a team, you're responsible for everyone. When the enemy came, the goal was to get everyone back to safety, no matter what the scientist claimed he was in the middle of doing. Sometimes it involved dragging injured people, sometimes just talking them into running at your side." Let's be honest, it was more about the dragging and shooting things.

"Today you're gonna navigate a ~~moddable~~ course through the woods while tied to another student in what I'm told is Earth's three-legged race style. If you can't find a partner, I'll find one for you, so grab the first person you see and let's get going."

Maron was, for once, actually okay with the uniform.

Because, totally, didn't want to get her other clothes all gross. Ewww.

Hurley was so looking forward to this class being over and never having to wear this stuff again.

You'd never know he wasn't a fan, though, because he was all smile today.

Liir, as per usual, got changed without incident.

It was hot enough that Alex could deal with a uniform today. He didn't need to smell up his own clothes.

Jon was very much planning on burning this uniform next week.

Sure, gymsuit, whatever. Francine was more worried about the part where her designation in three-legged races was Girl Most Likely To Sprain Her Partner's Body Parts When She Falls On Them.

No really, she'd won that award at the Puncture High freshman picnic.

Penelope dressed out, humming while she did so.

Even beyond liking to be able to change clothes on a hot day, Mirax was starting to find the uniform comfortable. This was wrong on so many levels.

Yes, there's totally a giant ring that declares the finish line. Looks juuuuust like a Stargate. Find your partner and get to it!

Maron glanced around for a partner, stretching as she did so.

Liir wandered over to her with a little smile.

"Do you think you'd mind working with me?

Maron held up one finger, obviously teasing as she said, "I don't know, should I mind?"

"I can be remarkably awkward," he admitted, smiling a little, "but I do have quite a lot of hiding and avoiding trouble experience."

"I'm pretty sporty," she shared, "so we should probably be okay as long as we don't fall? Though you're fairly tall, which makes it a bit more difficult."

Or Maron was short. Either or.

"Oh," because that wasn't what he meant at all, "I meant, well, otherwise. I'm a fair hand at sports as well. I don't think the height should be too troublesome, though. I can duck."

Maron laughed.

"For our legs," she explained, gesturing to his leg and then to hers. "Your stride is different than mine."

"I'll shorten mine," he offered thoughtfully.

"Shouldn't be too bad."

"Just have to remember not to rush," she nodded, "or get impatient."

He shook his head firmly.

"Certainly not," he agreed.

"Shall we, uh, get started?"

After Jon finished laughing, because the only missing from that description was the guy who touched things and nearly got killed to make it SG-1, he started to look around for a partner.

She's so cute and wee.

Ronon will be waiting over by the giant ring. They're good to lean against.

I woke up late? Oops. Vacation is hard.
