This week, the Danger Shop was outfitted as the ~~Vancouver~~ wilderness. In the center, Ronon stood in a clearing big enough to fit the class with amazing doors built into some trees. They were labeled Boys and Girls. Yup, locker rooms still standing.

"So," Ronon sighed, looking them over. "Some of you can't outrun the enemy. Some of you can't shoot the enemy. Let's see who can find a place to hide and who can seek you out." Yep, they were playing hide and seek. Or just hide, because the goal was to not be found. "I shouldn't be able to hear you, smell you, or see you. Do your best to cover your tracks in ten minutes and keep yourself hidden until the end of the period, or someone finds you. Sometimes the enemy passes your spot and you have to stay, no matter how strong the urge is to try and run the other direction. This is about self control and keeping your ass safe. Got it?" Let's hope they all did.

"Now, you've got two minutes to get your uniform and get back here for the timer. Go!"

Alex barely made it to class on time having randomly fallen asleep AGAIN just as he'd been set to leave. At least the dreams hadn't been as bad as yesterday when he'd spent several naps dreaming about Effy of all people holding a bat to his throat (http://community.livejournal.com/fh_wishverse/1210.html?thread=40634#t40634) and being...creepier than usual.

What the hell was going on in his head?

He changed into the uniform sluggishly, still thinking about that before heading to go participate.

Penelope changed quickly, feeling the need to do so, so she could hurry up and find a good hiding spot.

Gym clothes, whatever. Francine wasn't exactly jumping up and down to change into them, but she didn't mind.

If Jon had been feeling a bit more ~~mouthy~~ sarcastic, he would have brought up how stupid it was to attempt to hide in these stupid uniforms.

Of course, that was what mud was for.

Yep, you're hiding for the entire period if you can manage it.

Alex was a master of hiding. When you spent time in the home he had, you learned to hide to avoid getting screamed or much worse than that.

He found a spot where he slid under, curled up and stayed still. Just like old times.

Tugging on a loose leafy limb from a shrub nearby, Penelope backed her way into a an hollow fallen tree trunk. She really hoped nothing was lurking deep inside. She shoved the broken off shrub in front of her, hoping to obscure her view from anyone who wandered by.

And then she was quiet and still.

Having had first a psychotic older half-brother to avoid, then monkies, and occasionally a bitchy witch, Liir had grown up quite skilled at hiding. The Emerald City had provided even more practice for that particular talent, and then here, well... for someone not particularly martially-minded, Liir had managed to survive quite well.

Suffice to say, he found a spot, curled up as small as he could, desperately didn't want to be found, and stayed there.

Francine both sucked and didn't, at unobtrusive. She lacked anything resembling coordination, but there was also a reason her superhero alter ego was codenamed wallflower.

So she found herself a bush with particularly bright blue and yellow flowers, and crawled under it, hoping her gym clothes would blend in.

Hurley sighed. He was big. Too big to really hide well.

He curled up next to a rock, and drug leaves and stuff up to cover himself. He tried to be as still as possible, but his breathing would probably give him away.

First things first, camouflage this stupid uniform. With dirt. And then carefully make his way to a tree, covering his tracks and doing a little backtracking when necessary.

By the time the ten minutes were up, Jon was hidden up in a very leafy tree with lots of branches. Maybe he would take a nap.

Say hi to Turtle, who is likely an actual turtle if she's there!

He's looking for signs of you!

Easy class for easy day of BDE-ness! Feel free to play with this how you will and if it looks like you're findable I'll send Ronon looking after work!
