Loki wasn't in the classroom today but there was a note written on the chalkboard.

ENJOY THIS QUIRK: THE TEACHER'S NOT HERE. DO YOU STAY AND KNOW THAT YOU FOLLOWED THE RULES OR GO BECAUSE YOU CAN? PICK YOUR CHOICE WISELY, IT'LL HAVE A CONSEQUENCE NEXT WEEK.

Yuffie Kisaragi, who is back home being a good little girl ~~which makes her player very sad~~ in the AU.

Agnes Nitt, who is magicless and acting like a dwarf in the AU.

Jenny Sparks, who has probably strangled Jenny Quantum by now back home in the AU.

Talk to each other, wonder if this is a trick, take a nap, leave! Up to you!

It seemed far too good to be true. "What'll he do either way?"

George shrugged. "S'pose he could be doin' whatever he wants, aye?"

"Wonder what he's got goin' today," Griff replied, doubting Loki did this purely to benefit the students. "You think he'll get pissed if we leave?"

"Aye, maybe," George said. "Be better t'have trouble from Loki than sit here like dolts fer an hour. Better things t'learn elsewhere if he' not showin'."

"Doesn't take much to convince me," he said. "I know I've better things to do." Griff couldn't help thinking it wasn't too late to go back to bed. His strange dreams last night hadn't left him feeling very rested.

"Enjoy your day," George said with a quick grin.

Layla stayed for a second or two... then just took off.

Tara wondered if she'd get in trouble for just leaving. She'd hang around for five minutes just to make sure.

There was no way Effy would be staying for the whole session, but for now, she was lounging on her elbows on her desk and watching people. They were occasionally interesting.

Firekeeper couldn't actually read the sign, so she just sat down with Blind Seer and found herself wondering why some people were leaving. She figured it probably had to do with what was written on the board, but since she had no idea what that was, she couldn't leave herself.

Fiona decided to stay, picking up a book and starting to read. Her copy of the Mythica Improbiba had come in and it was time to really start going through it.

...and if she blushed because that picture of her aunt Dallas naked was still in there, well, she couldn't help it. Or turn the page fast enough.

Yuffie snickered a bit and took her seat to wait.

Agnes frowned. Why would he give them the option if he didn't want them to use it?

Jenny took one look at the board, turned around, and walked out. "Later!" she tossed over her shoulder.

You staying? You going?

Oh, that was mean.

Zack spent a good chunk of the class period, just staring at that note and debating if he wanted to stay or leave.

Or maybe he spent it passed out on his desk, dreaming about gnawing on a red rubber ball.

Either way, he totally stuck around for the whole period, right?

Emmett didn't have anything better to do, so he stayed. Stayed and made paper footballs.

Prince Edward followed the rules but he was somewhat bored.

He decided to sing True Love's Kiss. It was his favorite after all.

Helen honestly didn't have anywhere else to be, so she pulled out her book and curled up in her chair to read for the class period. She might actually have stayed for some time after the class was over, so engrossed was she in the reading.

Elena decided to stay, just for a few minutes to see if this was a prank. She closed her eyes and rested her head on the desk, stifling a yawn. What was with her lately?

If she had to keep falling asleep like that, could she possibly have pleasant dreams? Ones about sex and booze and more sex, and not ones about some dark post-apocalyptic nightmare-world?

Her brain was fired.

Yuffie stayed and looked over floorplans of the the school. She was working on escape and rescue routes for the Fighter Reserves.

Agnes decided she didn't like this game.

So she went and sat down in the hall next to the door, with one foot still inside the classroom.

Who SHOULD set a good example for everyone but, of course, don't have to.

George was bein' an excellent example, thank ye.

Weren't no point in hangin' around with nothin' t'be learned.

Isn't there!

We're going light so everyone can continue being mean and evil in the BDE!
