Journalism Class - Friday October 14

Spider is wearing a broad grin as his students file in this morning. The side wall of the classroom has been mocked up to look like a stage with two large doors, each bearing a number, and a curtain at the end. The cat is playing with something that is making helpless and panicked 'ribbit' noises beneath the edge of the curtain, and Spider himself is sitting atop his desk, legs crossed.

"Good morning, students!" He greets the class cheerfully. "As no one saw fit to come up with a project for Parent's Weekend as of yet, I thought that today would be Student Appreciation Day. One of the other faculty left the television on in the lounge the other day and I saw a show which I thought it might be fun to emulate."

Spider gestured toward the stage. "Every student gets to pick. You may choose Door Number One, Door Number Two or pick, instead, what's behind the curtain. Everyone gets a prize of some sort and a good time will be had by me all. Really."

Still grinning broadly, he lit up a cigarette and propped his chin in one hand. "Who'll be first, then?"

John pauses for a long moment before shurgging. "I bet it tastes like chicken. I always heard that cutlets were the most healthy part of the koala. Could I take my date to one of those for prom? I bet it would be an unforgettable date!"

"Elegant dining or catering to the time and place of your choosing." Spider looks positively gleeful. "I sold the rights to my memoirs teaching here at Fandom High yesterday, and as this class is going to feature rather spectacularly in said memoirs, I thought I'd share the wealth."

Returning from Door Number One, Krycek looks at his prize in bemusement. He's got a good idea which he'd rather do, for personal reasons, but he's not sure yet - he'll have to think about it.

Jake blinked a lot, then laughed out loud. "Hey, thanks, professor!" For the first time that day, he lost the gloomy appearance and turned his head to grin widely towards Spider.

The reason for said perch is immediately revealed as the cat chases yet another frog from beneath his desk.

A little green, D'anna opens and closes her mouth a few times before she can actually speak. "Sir? What sort of place exactly is Long Pig?"

Spider swung his legs for a moment before answering. "In my world we vat grow humans for things like skin grafts, organ donation and the like. They're not sentient, never had the chance to be sentient, just bodies grown in vats. Someone got the bright idea of selling some of the non-essential bits after organ harvesting... and Long Pig was born. It's human without the human, if you know what I mean." He eyed her, noting the faintly green tinge. "... and not to everyone's taste, admittedly. Would you prefer something a bit closer to home?"

Angela is pretty happy about her prize, and is having a hard time deciding which version to take. The henna could be pretty, but the tattoo ... this school has changed her so much on the inside that it might be nice to make a change to the outside to match.

Duce's eyebrow ring makes an appearance over the edge of her glasses, and sitting down abruptly, she busts into peals of laughter. "We hate you. In a good way, but still.. hate."

T-shirts! Chihaya liked tshirts! He dug around in the box and looked at each one until he found one that he liked and made sense to him. Holding to his body, the hem fell to just past midthigh. He beamed cheerfully.

After claiming his prize from door number one, Connor sits down, pleased. He's always wanted a tattoo, and though he wouldn't choose a spider necessarilly, he's not opposted to it.

He does wonder what his brother will think. Maybe he should go for the henna, since a tat would be permanent. Hmmm.

Oz looks skeptically at the certificates from door number two, wondering if Duce would like either of those places, and wondering if either of them would serve non-meat entrees since Oz doesn't care for the taste of meat which surely has nothing to do with the fact he's a werewolf and where he comes from people have been known to kill and eat werewolves at preciselymidnight.

Er...sir, I've grown up with the notion that eating human parts and endangered species isn't moral...the thought makes me a tad queasy, to be honest.
