When the class assembled in the gymnasium, they would find Ronon looking much like his normal self - massive man with dreads and leather - ready to begin in low, gruff tones. "This is Survival for students without powers. There's no magic to escaping from whatever bad guys are after you. If you're lucky, there's no one after you now. If you're not, this is where you need to be. Either way, we can work on getting you to the point where when something attacks here in Fandom you can manage to survive it." Look, he had to hope.

"If you've taken classes here before, you know today's the intro day. So, you're all gonna go get yourselves in uniforms from the locker room," he pointed to the doors, "and then sit down and get to know each other or something."

Which was kind of weird for a Ronon class, but he was working on this whole conforming thing.

"Oh, and," his gaze wandered over the group, searching for familiar faces, "Wexler, you're the TA. Make sure no one has problems finding a uniform that fits."

Turtle may have been looking a little displeased. No, make it a lot displeased. Not about being made TA; that was good because she hadn't secured a TA spot yet, but were uniforms really necessary again? P.E. class, okay, it made some sense, maybe, but Mr. Dex was definitely getting a sour look.

Oh, she'd make sure everyone got a uniform that fits. And then she'd make sure that this batch got mysteriously burned at the end of the semester, too.

Waving back, Turtle grinned at Jon, and expectant look on her face. "Soooooo?" she asked. "How'd it go Friday?"

Jon just grinned. "Very good. Very, very good. We just have to keep it kinda quiet so that word doesn't get back to her dad."

"Is her dad that bad?" Turtle couldn't help asking. "That you'd have to keep it quiet even when she's here? And, hey, if it makes you feel any better, it couldn't be worse than when my dad found out about my last boyfriend, oh maaaan."

"Yeah, but her dad's also all the way over in Texas. And probably really stupid if he thinks he can send his daughter off to a boarding school all the way over here and not expect there to be boys."
