If you hae not selected a government role, today is the last day to pick. For next week your assignment is to turn in an outline on the paper. If you do not turn one in, I will take off one letter grade from the final grade of the paper.

Today should be interesting. We are going to go over chapter 4: Dictatorships: When Few Rule the Many.

As is her wont, Beka's carrying coffee for herself and her morning class professor. She doesn't know if Padme will want it, or how she takes it, so she's left it black but brought fixings.

"Hey. Looks like I have a lot to catch up on." She holds out the coffee. "I usually bring coffee to my first class. Do you allow it? And do you want some?"

A dictatorship seemed a lot more streamlined than the governing system he was used to. He wondered if this might be the sort of thing that Chancellor Palpatine would be interested in hearing about.

I think I'll be doin' somethin' on the Vice Foreign Minister, since this gal I know has that role. She was Queen of Earth for a little while, but since that was a whole big sham-ola, I'll be stickin' with the more, uh, legit role. *smiles*
