Books were arrayed along the table in the front of the class room today, and a few extra laptops had been brought in and set up for Internet access.

"Good morning," Brennan said, hands firm on her coffee mug. "Today is your last class. You were almost all entirely acceptable, and mostly mature about the topics we were discussing, so I wanted to thank you for that."

It was Brennan. That was high praise.

"Today, I'm turning the class over to all of you for a final assignment. I know there isn't much time for a proper research project, but I would like each of you to pick a topic related to sex or sexuality that we didn't cover in depth in class and make a brief presentation on it. I've brought in resources; Wikipedia is fine if proper primary sources are cited. You may work in pairs, but if you do, I'll expect the work quality be twice as good."

"If none of you have questions, we should probably begin." She clearly didn't expect too many questions.

Listen to the lecture (what there is of it), pick a topic, and go for it. Materials are moddable within reason. (I.E., no, there's no porn, but there are books about it.) Some resources I would recommend:

Alex frowned at having to actually work but since it was a topic he knew well, he let it go and just decided to get it done.

Chuck was there with a fox. Yes. A fox. Look, he wasn't about to leave Blair alone in his room. She might still be pissed at him and take the opportunity to eat his clothes or something.

He picked up one of the books about porn and was very glad foxes couldn't roll their eyes.

Karla decided to research this world's methods of birth control. The methods in Kaeleer seemed to be either surprising or outright unheard of here.

Sam had brought Peter with him to class, not wanting to leave him alone when he couldn't fend for himself. Luckily, he was totally capable of bunny petting and researching at the same time.

"Blair, if you eat that rabbit I promise I'll get you something from Tiffany's after you're human again," Chuck said, patting the top of the fox's head. He was kidding. Mostly.

Sam glared at Chuck and held Peter close to his chest. "My boyfriend is not wolf food," he said, in case Chuck thought Peter was a pet.

"Blair's a fox, actually," Chuck said and then he smirked because, hey, that worked two ways.

"He's not fox food either," Sam said, giving Peter a hug. "Or any kind of food at all. Did someone do something to Blair, or is it just a Fandom thing?"

Ugh. That hugging stuff was so lame. He didn't even need to look down to see that Blair was giving him a look that clearly said that if Chuck tried doing that then there would be a appendage getting bit off.

"No idea. I don't know she was a fox until I heard radio," Chuck said, shrugging. "And, by the way, I did not tell Hannibal you were my bitch."

He just thought it, that's all.

"For someone that complains about the squirrels lying all the time you are sure quick to listen to them."

"It's not like you've never suggested such a thing before," Sam pointed out. "I figured the squirrels wouldn't lie about things you already do."

"Well you were wrong," Chuck said. "Such little faith in me..."

"Right, because you totally don't think I'm your bitch anymore," Sam said sarcastically. "You've had a sudden change of heart?"

"Let's not go that far," Chuck said, smirking. "But I think everybody is my bitch."

"So I'm not special?" Way to almost sound disappointed there, Sam.

"Oh you're my favorite bitch, Sam," Chuck told him.

"That's because I put up with you for reasons even I can't understand," Sam said. "Maybe I should look up masochism and talk about that."

"You put up with it because you liiiiiiiiike me," Chuck sang. "I'd do the same for you if you ever decided to be demanding."

Not that would ever happen.

"I would never demand anything of you," Sam said. "That's what I have Peter for. And you know you'd say no to me if I asked you to do something you didn't want to do."

"I can't even imagine what you'd ask that I'd say no to," Chuck said.

"Double date. Me and Peter, you and Blair," Sam said, smirking.

"Wow. Not only would I say no to that, I'm sure Blair and Peter would too," Chuck said.

"Well, then don't say you'd say yes to anything I'd ask," Sam replied.

Zack was not going to hide under the desk. He wasn't. He was going to pick a topic and run with it.

His choice boiled down to personality's effects on mutual attraction. Because that seemed... safe.

Maybe he'd just talk about dating websites or something?

As Valentine considered some of the options for a lecture, she found herself drifting toward Freudian complexes, but was distinctly trying to veer away.

It would figure that she'd have more of an inkling for the psychological side of sex than anything to do with the more physical implications.
