Beach Play - Tuesday - Period 5

"It's the last day of class, guys," Marshall said once everybody had showed up. "I'd be crazy to try to teach anything."

Yeah, like he had actually taught anything this semester.

"So I brought some drinks and snacks and we're going to have a little beach party," he said. "Feel free to eat, to play volleyball, to swim. Do whatever you want. I won't judge."

Wait...

"Okay, I might judge but I won't say anything out loud. Not unless it's something dirty and inappropriate for class."

That's better.

"It was really great having you guys as my students and thank you all so much for not drowning this semester. That means a lot to me," Marshall said. "Anyways, that's all I've got. Get partying!"

This time Francine brought the waterproof sunscreen. It wasn't, really, but at least it stood some chance of staying on when she went in swimming. Which indeed she did, though she didn't stray very far from the shallows.

Edward definitely took to the water. Swimming was an excellent sport. And it was fun!

Eleanor played in the sand for a bit, then stretched out with a book. What? Reading on the beach seemed like an excellent idea.
