"Today is our last class. I've very much enjoyed our time here, so while, as I said, I wanted all of you to do your presentations today-- and that is not canceled--" Sophie smiled. "You may do them on whatevery you wish. Why you should be President. Your Oscar acceptance speech for Best Actor, Actress, or F/X Coordinator. Your reasons on why we should all convert to Jainism. A monologue from Shakespeare's Amleth. Have at it!"

"And please have some of the muffins and cookies here. I hope to see some of you in the class I hope to be teaching next semester. And of course, those of you who are in the play-- I'll see you tomorrow."

Parker perked up a little at that. "You mean like security systems?"

"Precisely," Sophie said with a straight face. "Valuable artifacts need to be protected. If any of you wish to go into either art history or preservation, or law enforcement, I think this class would be highly useful."

"Or for thieves," Parker said.

Sophie blinked and looked considering. "Yes, I suppose it might-- of course, such systems are constantly updated and upgraded. One would need the latest plans to an exhibit first--" Which reminded her of Chicago, again. "But that sort of thing would be covered in the course, naturally." She smiled mildly. "Do you think you might be interested in TA'ing again? I don't know if you care much for art, though. Perhaps it's not in your line."

"You'd be surprised," Parker said. "I'd still get paid, right?"

"Mmmm. You did do a good job this time," Sophie said judiciously. "Why not? Contingent on me being hired again, you understand. The school may decide otherwise. I should know in a week or so."
