Criminal Justice: Wednesday
The danger shop had be returned to the MTAC setting as it was a few weeks ago. Gibbs marched in just as the bell rank with a tray of coffee and another tray of something called "Caf-Pow!"
"Sit," he commanded as he laid down the trays and selected a cup of coffee for himself. "Let's go over what we've done so far. We've gathered the evidence. You've apprehended the bad guys and you've worked on interrogation. Now it's time to review what we've learned so far."
"Since we could not arrange for you to interview the actual suspects, I'll relay the information learned during their interrogation sessions."
"Kevin Holt. No alibit for the time of the murder. Voluntarily submitted his DNA thinking we had physical evidence to the crime. Other than the sex wax used for his surfboard we have no link. However we were able to prove that Mr. Holt is the father of Petty Officer Jordan's child. Mr. Holt also described his girlfriend as being extremely jealous of other women."
"Lisa Kerr. No alibi for the time of the murder. Suspect also admitted to finding the voice mail left on her boyfriend's phone by Petty Officer Jordan. No witness tying her to the murder site and as of right now we have no physical evidence linking her to the murder. One thing to note: Ms. Kerr is also a surfer."
"And finally Jonathan Redding who would be our stalker," Gibbs said finally taking a sip of his coffee. "Mr. Redding was at the beauty pageant during the time of Petty Officer Jordan's murder. The camera's had him in sight the entire time."
Gibbs straightened up his posture and scanned the class. "What I want to hear from you now is your opinions on who the culprit might be and why. Good answers get you a beverage. Bad one's will get... well they won't get beverages. Who's up first?"

She glanced up, seeming to consider something. "Do we have any evidence that indicates premeditation?" she asked. "A surfer goes into the bathroom, and spies there the friend who is betraying her trust. She has the surfboard in her arms, not wanting to abandon it while powdering her nose. She wishes that her once-friend would choke on that vomit and die. And realizes she has the power to make that happen."

She looked up. "I think the girlfriend, Ms Kerr, definitely is suspicious. She could have seen the Petty Officer and followed her into the restroom to talk or something and got mad."

And the Killer is....
Re: And the Killer is....
The main screen in front of the room flickered and Abby Sciuto and Tim McGee appeared.
"Gibbs!"
"Hello, Abs. McGee. What do you got for us?"
"Well," Abby said with a grin. "We have quite a story, don't we McGee?"
McGee didn't seem to think so. "Um. Abby, maybe we should just stick to the script."
Abby shot McGee a glare. McGee rolled his eyes and sighed.
"First," Abby said with a grin. "Do you know how many fingerprints were lifted at the crime scene? Over 125. And we got a match."
"Good," Gibbs replied. "Who was it?"
Abby bounced slightly as she held up a photo (http://netster.flexichat.net/wp-content/uploads/2008/02/jld_210x210_6.jpg). "
Meta forElaine Benes."Gibbs scowled. "Abby."
"She was arrested for not obeying the Good Samaritan law in some small town," Abby babbled. "Which is where we got her fingerprints.
"Abby," Gibbs said in his best "don't screw with me tone".
"We brought her in for questioning," Abby continued cheerfully. "Where she told how she was stuck next to the victim but the stall had no toilet paper. When she asked the victim for help, the petty officer made the comment about not having a 'square to spare' which enraged Ms. Benes. Right McGee?"
"Um."
McGee looked like he would rather be any where but here right now.
"And that's your culprit Agent Gibbs!" Abby said with a solemn nod. "Good job catching the crook all you mini cops!"
Gibbs stood and glared at the screen. "Abby..."
"What's wrong Gibbs?" Abby asked innocently. "This is hardcore evidence that I produced for you. Are you just going to ignore it."
Gibbs turned to scowl at McGee. "McGee. Can you tell me who the killer was?"
McGee looked nervously back and forth from Abby to Gibbs. "Um. Sorry Boss. It was Elaine. Really."
"Really," Gibbs replied. "That's the stance you're taking?"
"No offense Boss," McGee said. "But... uh. Well you're there and I'm here."
"There you have it," Abby said looking pleased that she had cowed McGee into obeying her. "The murderer was Elaine Benes."
Gibbs finally had to crack a grin as he turned off the monitor. "All right. Let this be a lesson to all of you. Sometimes it's never who you suspect. And when the case is done? You just need to walk way."
