Please deliver your speeches to the class that were assigned on Tuesday.

301--Interpersonal Communication

Today, in our family unit, we are going to do a game. Please seperate yourselves into two groups. Gravitate toward who you feel would be a functional family member. Then discuss amongst yourselves the reasons you chose one another.

((ooc: Mun's day from hell...you guys are on your own...mostly))
((OOC: ETA--fortune favors the...me. One class cut short and the other cancelled Woohoo!))

*Shep stands up and gives a fair-to-middlin' speech ('cause it won't do to show that he really can do this whole public speaking thing, and that he really is full of deep thoughts, 'cause then people will actually expect things of him, but he also can't afford to flunk any classes.)*

*He then sits down and pokes at his laptop. About a minute and a half into listening to the next speech, he unexpectedly sits up very straight and whispers something that sounds a lot like "Whatthefuckgrizzlybear?"*

*The screen on his laptop shows:*

*Looking around to see if anyone noticed his little outburst, he sinks back into his seat.*

[loudly] MR. Sheppard! You will NOT speak that way in my class!

My bad...

... but there's a bear.

*gestures to computer*

... I think it's doing ballet.

[She looks at him like he may very well be insane]

A bear...doing ballet...What are you doing back there? [She begins walking back to look at his computer screen.]

*Lowers laptop lid half-way*

Who me? Nothin'.

*wonders if the cute-and-terribly-innocent act is working*

Yeah. Right. Because nothin' makes you cuss in my class...

[lifts the laptop lid back up and looks at the screen]

What is this?

Um... a bear doing ballet.

Didn't we cover that part already?

Mr. Sheppard...I'm not amused. [and she really looks NOT amused] I think, now that your speech is done, you really don't need this until after class.

[She pushes the lid down and takes the laptop back to her desk]

*Yells over his shoulder to the Prof's retreating back*

Don't forget to feed them and tell them to use the bathroom or they can die!

It's a computer, Mr. Sheppard. I'm sure whatever you have in here will come back to life. Or you can start over.

Pick it up at the end of class.

*pouts and pulls a Rubik's Cube out of his sweatshirt pocket*

*At the end of class, John waits for everyone else to leave, draws up a suitibly chastised face and approaches Ms. Cregg's desk.*

Um... can I get my computer back now?

If you promise me that will not happen again in my class. [she hands him the laptop]

[After looking for about eight minutes (And then getting a whole shit-load of skins) I have concluded the following:

I need Sims 2.

And I have no idea about the comm thing even though I swore you could do it before.]
