When the students entered the flight shed (thankfully no longer smelling of bleach), they would notice a sequence of lights spread across the ceiling.

"Meet Drol," Anakin said, waving his hand. "The god of the moon of Iego, who brings destruction to all those who attempt to leave." He snorted. "In reality, Drol is a system of laser emitters programmed to track onto a ship as it hits orbit and blow it out of the sky. That same technology was later used to exterminate entire planets. We'll get to in a few classes. For today, you will be piloting a G9 Rigger freighter, which is neither sexy nor particularly speedy, but it's your first time flying in space, so you need something that can take a little beating up."

He flashed them a tiny smile. "For you beginners, you will only have to navigate around the asteroids in Iego's atmosphere. People with a little more experience will face off against Drol. Figure out how to disable the system without exploding, please."

He clasped his hands together in front of him. "Begin."

"Right," she said with a touch of stubbornness, since she didn't think that last conversation they'd had was going to not sting anytime soon. She had to have at least a tiny air of defiance going on if she was attempting a second apology. "That's all I wanted to say."

"I'm glad you stopped by," he said. "We tried something new today."

"What, not yelling at each other?" she asked, possibly misunderstanding.

"A new simulation," he clarified.

Only crazy people did things like communicate effectively. Pff.

So apparently they were back to normal. Well, "normal." "Oh. Anything good?"

"It blew Ben up a few times," Anakin said with a little smirk. "Ever hear of Iego?"

"Heard of it," she shrugged. "That's about it."

"During the Clone Wars, there was a laser emitter system set up in orbit to stop any ship from exiting the moon. Obi-Wan and I were going to leave anyway," Anakin said with a shrug. "Turns out it was harder than I thought."

"Apparently. It blew up Ben," she agreed. Though honestly her idea of Ben's skills was mostly because she just couldn't imagine how he wouldn't be great, considering Luke.

"I wasn't really concerned at the time," he replied. "We needed to leave--Iego was the only place that held an antidote to a particularly nasty airborne poison."

So he'd flown like a maniac.

"Hm. I might have to try it out sometime." That was friendly, right?

"We did it in an old freighter I'd liberated from some Hutts, too," Anakin said with a small smile.

"I'll have to get the story sometime," she said, and added, "I'm not trying to blow you off, I've just got a fifth period class. Tuesdays are my messy days."

"That's the one the man who looks like your father with a hat fetish teaches?"

Nice, Anakin.

"That's third period. Now I get to spend time on the beach." Not that Jaina minded the beach, she just had things to do. Unfortunately she was a stickler for going to classes when she was in Fandom.

He shook his head. "Paperwork screwup?" he guessed.

"Two classes I didn't sign up for, a roommate and a little sibling. Someone in the office hated me this time."

Maybe this is why you shouldn't insult the workers, Jaina.

"It wasn't me," Anakin said quickly.

"I figured," she said with a little smile. "I need to get going ~~and avoid the mispings~~. I'll see you later, though."

"Thanks for stopping by," Anakin said with a genuine smile.
