Mac smiles as all the TA Candidates walk into the DangerRoom Shop. He gives them an application form with the following questions:

Will you be able to handle teaching classes for two weeks sometime in the Dec/Jan timeframe?
[OOC: reply to to this post with this information ]
He also hands out...

Season Three
Season Four
Season Five
Season Six

But this is good also: Click Here
phases_of_kitty? I'm giving you TA status based on your ability to handle Shi'ar technology. You'll be the technical TA.
The rest of you? One of you will be dealing with students and if you want... coming up with class ideas.
[OOC: Look below for your Try-out link. Use the reference materials above for ideas. Feel free to play around with it and try and "MacGyver your way out of the situation I'm about to put you in]

Re: [SoGothCally's Audition]
Okay... picking it is out of the question, so I'm gonna have to break it. No visible screws, so...
::if Cally were a cartoon character, a lightbulb would now suddenly appear over her head::
Wait, we always used to get engine cracks in the winter, when water would drip in and freeze, busting out small bits...
::looks over at the ice, the crate of ice cream pints, and back at the lock::
Oh, I so totally have this.
Re: [SoGothCally's Audition]
Alright, that's my heat source... but I gotta get the water down from here, over into the lock.
::pulls over the crate of Rocky Road pints, opens it, and starts her first step. She pulls off the lid, occasionally taking a lick of the ice cream, and then cuts the pint in half, shaking the ice cream free, and finally removing the bottom, so she has two vaguely half cylindrical pieces::
::She then duct tapes these pieces into a long, somewhat flexible troth::
::she then tapes this troth into place, one end by the lightbulb, the other leading directly into the door lock::
Now it's the easy part. ::starts chipping pieces of ice off of things and holds them up near the light bulb::
::grins:: Hope this works!

Re: [SoGothCally's Audition]
Frak!
::frowns, and looks around her again::
Wait, the army knife won't work to pick the lock... but... ::pulls on her work gloves, and then reaches up to unscrew the lightbulb::
This should work. ::carefully smashes the light bulb, and removes the filament wires::
::kneels next to the lock, and begins trying to fiddle it open with the filament wires, starting to shiver from the cold::
Ha! I'm a frakking genius. ::the lock pops open::
Note to self, try the simpler plan first next time.
