Indy gave his students a warm grin as they came into the class room. "Don't worry," he said. "No bizarre traps this week."

On the table in front of him were a variety of different tools used in Archeology.

"Today we're going to review the standard tools for an archeologist and how they're used. Then we'll touch on some of the tools I find handy."

Indy then began to lecture about the use of mapping equipment, trowels, shovels and soil sifters.

"Then there's the not so common gear," Indy continued. "For instance: A nice hat. Get one with a good wide brim. It'll protect your face from the sun and keep water off it during the rain. Secondly, a gun."

He gave a little smirk at this. "Chances are if you are going after something, someone else is too. And they might have no problems ending your life to get to it first. If you don't know how to use one, don't get one without getting trained on how to use it. Finally there's this:

Indy pulled out his bullwhip and placed in on the table. "This is your standard bullwhip. Good to have in a hand to hand combat situation. It allows you to strike out at your opponent while still keeping at a distance. Plus you'll never know when you'll need an impromptu rope. Only problem is you could flay yourself just learning how to u se the thing."

"That being said I've programmed the Danger Shop to allow you to try out all this equipment. The guns and whips are holographic but don't even think of using them on your fellow students. Got me? All right. Get to work."

Annja was taking notes as the teacher spoke. Yes, she knew these tools, but her "guardian" would be amused by her taking notes anyway.

The danger shop has been set up for a dig in the middle of the desert. Various artifacts are available to "find" but you'll have to dig for them.

Helen carefully worked on the dig, wondering if she'd actually find anything.

Shilo found what she thought was a tooth, and spent a majority of the class cleaning it.

Only to find it was a hardened piece of gum.

The trowel was almost as tall as Robin was, so he was using it like a standard shovel.

Now there are a variety of fedoras to try out, a small shooting range with Nazi soldier targets and a few whips to crack.

The weapons are all holographic and the safety locks are on, but let's not try to hurt yourself or others, mmmmmm'kay?

Helen carefully used the equipment as she had been shown.

Shilo ignored the fedoras- she had never looked good in hats- and set to practicing her shooting.

Who still gives Indy a weird sense of deja vu.

Sam had managed not to injure himself with the weapons. Even if they were fake. He was calling that a win.

Who might be slightly disappointed over the lack of Nazis to punch in this class session.

For the world is a better place with it.
